Mass (Colder Darker Matter) – Burnt wood, wire and string, by Cornelia Parker (British, born in 1956)

Mass (Colder Darker Matter) is made from the charred remain of a Texas Baptist church that was struck by lightning. The London-based artist conceived this work while a resident at ArtPace in San Antonio.
