To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Strasbourg Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art commissioned FAILE to paint some murals outside the museum. The murals are inspired by a poem titled From The Air We Share.
FAILE is the Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between
Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller that started in 1999. They make serigraphs,
collage, murals, and installations. They are inspired by pop culture.
A 4-meter high horse
sculpture Hortus conclusus, by the Italian artist Mimmo
Paladino is placed on the museum's roof.
