Battistero di San Giovanni in Florence

Battistero di San Giovanni (The Florence Baptistry) is a minor basilica in Florence, Italy. It was built between 1059 and 1128 and has a magnificent mosaic ceiling inside.

Milan Castle Da Vinci - Sotto l'ombra del Moro. La Sala delle Asse

From 16 May 2019 the Sala delle Asse in Milan Castle has been re-opened for the exhibition In the shadow of the Moro. The room has been undergoing restoration since 2013.

The Sala delle Asse is used for a multimedia tour with projections showing how the murals probably looked like when the decoration was painted by Leonardo at the request Ludovico il Moro.

Traces of preparatory drawings by Leonardo da Vinci in the Sala delle Asse

These preparatory drawings were rediscovered during restoration works.

Some drawing by Leonardo were also exhibited in the Castle.
