Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny

Monet’s garden in Giverny is divided into two parts: The Clos Normand (close to the pink house) and the Water Garden, which is actually on the other side of a road.

The Clos Normand

This is an incredible garden during the summer, with hundreds of flowers as rich in colours as the painter’s palette.

The Water Garden

This part of the garden has been made famous by the « Nymphéas » series, as well as the numerous paintings of the Japanese style bridge (painted in green instead of the traditional red).
