Bouquet of Tulips by Jeff Koons -

Bouquet of Tulips is sculpture located in a park between the back of the Petit Palais and Place de La Concorde in Paris (France). 

This is Jeff Koons' first commemorative work unveiled in 2019 to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks in France in 2015 and 2016.

This sculpture is made of polychromed bronze, aluminum and stainless steel. It is 11-meter-high, weights 34 tons and is set on a 27-ton base. Because of its weight, it could not be placed in front of the Palais de Tokyo, which was first chosen as its location.








A plaque gives details on the donation and financing of this sculpture.

Interior of the Duomo’s dome in Florence

The interior of the dome is 45 metre-wide and the painted surface is 3,600 square metres.

Cosimo I de' Medici asked for a representation of The Last Judgment. Giorgio Vasari and Federico Zuccari and their collaborators started in 1568 and and the work lasted until 1579.

Madonna with glass eyes at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence

Madonna and Child (Madonna with Glass Eyes) – marble sculpture by Anolfo di Cambrio 

This sculpture, from 1296, was initially on the front of Santa Maria del Fiore church in Florence. It is made of marble, except from the Madonna glass eyes.
