From 16 May 2019 the Sala delle Asse in Milan Castle has been re-opened for the exhibition
In the shadow of the Moro. The room has been undergoing restoration since 2013.
Sala delle Asse
The Sala delle Asse is used for a multimedia tour with projections showing how the murals probably looked like when the decoration was painted by Leonardo at the request Ludovico il Moro.

These preparatory drawings were rediscovered during restoration works.
Some drawing by Leonardo were also exhibited in the Castle.
