This museum
is about the history of Paris. It is hosted in a Renaissance-era hotel. The
diverse collections exhibited in the museum goes from
archaeology to complete interior of apartments over the centuries.
They also have
a good collection of paintings.

Marie Cassatt was an American Impressionist painter who was
a friend of Degas and Manet. There were a number of American artists who came
to France to work with the Impressionist group, but she is probably the most
famous of them.
