This sculpture is made of polychromed bronze, aluminum and stainless steel. It is 11-meter-high, weights 34 tons and is set on a 27-ton base. Because of its weight, it could not be placed in front of the Palais de Tokyo, which was first chosen as its location.

A plaque gives details on the donation and financing of this sculpture.
