This is Jeff Koons' first commemorative work unveiled in 2019 to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks in France in 2015 and 2016.
This sculpture is made of polychromed bronze, aluminum and stainless steel. It is 11-meter-high, weights 34 tons and is set on a 27-ton base. Because of its weight, it could not be placed in front of the Palais de Tokyo, which was first chosen as its location.
